Cornwall is steeped in tradition. From its early days, it has grown to become one of the premier clubs in New Zealand. In 2004 we proudly celebrated our 50th anniversary at our wonderful ground, nestled against the slopes of One Tree Hill.
Cornwall, with its atmosphere reminiscent of a traditional English village cricket field, has existed for over 100 years. Originally the Ponsonby Cricket Club, and then the Ponsonby-Balmoral Cricket Club, we moved to Cornwall Park in 1952, at first on a small site nearer to the hill. We relocated to our present site in 1954.
