- In 2002, Ted Corless left the law firm of Shook, Hardy & Bacon, an internationally recognized law firm, with offices throughout the United States and in several countries. At Shook Hardy, Corless was working on the National Products Liability Team for Philip Morris's defense of Big Tobacco. Although receiving high accolades from the Firm, he felt something lacking in his practice. Having previously worked for other premier National law firms, including Carlton Fields in Florida, Corless set out to form a new law firm, where he felt he could better represent the interests of people, either in an individual capacity or as important parts of a company needing assistance.
