The CORD:USE Foundation, an IRS-approved 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, is dedicated to supporting patients, families and research with the utilization of umbilical cord blood stem cell transplants and therapies, and to educating the public on the scientific advancements and benefits of these transplants and therapies. Scientists are exploring new uses of cord blood to regenerate cells in the body that have been damaged or have stopped functioning properly. Cord blood research and clinical trials are being conducted for Juvenile Diabetes, Cerebral Palsy, Solid Tumors and Limb Ischemia.
