- My paintings have a strong humorous slant. I love hearing comments such as, "I didn't know palm trees were red." To me, it’s an indication that people are paying attention to things that don’t make sense (to them). It also tells me that my work is accessible, even though it challenges an individual’s perception of what is normal.
