Coolfer is a New York-based blog that covers music and the music industry. Started in August of 2003 as a way to expose the fledgling blogosphere to the insights of a person within the music industry, Coolfer.com has grown to become a respected and widely read source of news and opinion. It has been mentioned or quoted by the New York Times, the Long Island Press, Columbia Spectator and the LA Weekly.

Founder/Editor:

Glenn Peoples has worked in the music industry for over eight years and currently lives in New York City. Glenn has spoken on panels about music and blogging at the Global Entertainment and Media Summit and the Future of Music Summit. He has written a weekly column for Playlist Magazine's website and was a regular contributor to NYC-based blog Gothamist. In his spare time Glenn travels to far-flung countries (he's been to 31 countries on five continents) and in a prior life was a Division I All-American swimmer at UC Santa Barbara.
