  • CookingUpaStory uses the BrightCove video player and has some of the best production value you'll find in a videoblog. I (Marshallkirkpatrick) recommend it highly. They do not, however, allow off-site embedding of their content.

We do allow off-site embedding of our content. What Marshall is referring to is the embedding of our full episode players that contain several videos per player. Those players can only be embedded (syndicated) by applying for a managed account. However, anyone can embed an individual video in a single player by clicking on the menu while the chosen video is playing, and copying that individual embed code. I do ask that people who share our content also display our Cooking Up A Story name with a physical link back to our site. And, of course, we also ask that anyone using our content, do so under the creative commons 2.5 license (don't try to sell or advertise directly off of our content, and don't cover up our video watermark). Fair and common sense stuff, I believe.
