The Cooking Coach, Alyson Zildjian, has three unique services which provide you with fun and enjoyment. Alyson loves to be innovative in the kitchen. Creativity and confidence are the main ingredients that her clients quickly relish in.
Alyson is a Johnson & Wales University graduate, working and creating in the food service industry for over 20 years. While attending Johnson and Wales she was awarded study in Montreux, Switzerland at the Hotel Institute for Management, where she studied classical styles of cooking. After College, assignments included the Park Plaza in Boston, Keystone Resort in Colorado, Warner Center Hilton in California and many of Boston's finest caterers. Upon returning from California, Alyson opened the Santa Barbara Café in Cambridge with her husband Mark, which they ran together for 3 years. Mark, a trained chef from Boston University Hotel School is an integral part of the Cooking Coach as well. His expertise is utilized in the recipe development and team building division. They have a combined forty years of experience in the industry with extensive resources.
Alyson is a professional chef that works with a range of clients, from absolute beginners to the more adventurous cooks - individuals to corporations alike. She is a strong contributor in the community, volunteering her services and expertise. She was recently featured on the front page of the Food Section in the May 14th, 2003 issue of the Boston Globe.
