"In 1993 after many years of working in the accounting field for large and small corporations I decided to start my own company as a sole proprietor. I worked closely with accountants and gained much more knowledge about taxes, bookkeeping and accounting, than your average bookkeeper. What I enjoyed most was preparing a set of books for a business and analyzing the balance sheet and income statement with them. So I decided to offer a bookkeeping service to small businesses in South Florida.
