The Ministry of Tourism of the Region of Valencia seeks to become an instrument that contributes in a decisive way to the improvement of one of the most important sectors of our economy. It is cause for great satisfaction that the creation of this organism will raise, to the highest autonomic level, the policies directed at consolidating our region as one of the principal tourist destinations of both Spain and Europe.
I hereby consider it an honour and a privilege for me as Regional Minister of Tourism to take responsibility of this department. Through the website I put myself at the disposition of all those interested in uniting forces, from both the public sector and private initiatives, to fight for quality, innovation and the best services.
I consider the image of the Region of Valencia, which fundamentally relies upon an excellent track record over many years, to be one of the priorities of this Regional Ministry, and that new technology, especially the Internet as a means of global communication, has a fundamental role to play.
