Description
Communities in Contact has been funded by Border Action under Measure 3.1 "Civic & Community Networking" of the INTERREG IIIA programme. The aim of Communities in Contact in keeping with the aim of Measure 3.1 of INTERREG IIIA is to "create a sustainable cross border community infrastructure...that deepens the concept of partnership".
A successful partnership has been formed between Donegal Town Community Chamber and Strabane CWP for the joint delivery of the project in the Donegal Town and Strabane District areas until December 2006
Promote cross-border community networking and the creation of a sustainable cross-border community infrastructure through the formation of a network of 40 community & voluntary groups from the Donegal Town and Strabane District areas.
