About Columbia360.com

Columbia360.com was originally developed back in 1999 by a group of project designers and programmers. At the time, many mid-Missourian's felt that there wasn't a centralized website where people could visit to find information about the City of Columbia. Where could online guests find information about local businesses or a list of churches all in one website? Where could guests find information and pictures of local bands? Where could online guests view pictures of the City? Or even chat with other locals and share ideas and perspectives over the web? Columbia360.com was the answer.

Columbia360.com was built and customized from the ground up using ASP-language by a team of programmers and community volunteers. Proudly, it was a design that several other communities strived to emulate for their websites. In 2000, Columbia360.com publicly "opened" for visitors and provided a source of comprehensive information. In actuality, the website was built on a foundation of Columbia web-surfers like yourself!

Today, Columbia360.com remains one of the first websites dedicated to building "virtual" communities in order to promote the City of Columbia. The website and its operations continue to be owned and managed in its hometown of Columbia, Missouri.
