Collective Advantage is an innovation management training and consulting company based in Seattle, the heart of the Pacific Northwest. We work with companies of all shapes and sizes to help them innovate. We provide leading innovation training courses to educate people on the value and processes of innovating, working sessions to help organizations solve problems, and consulting services to help organizations redesign themselves to streamline the innovation process. Collective Advantage was started in 2005 by a former change management consultant, Nathan Thomas, who worked at a leading global consulting company. He believed that companies had tremendous potential collective power that was going untapped. He set out to tap the latent power of organizations in new and lasting ways, and Collective Advantage was born.
Collective Advantage was founded on the principle that people are connected by a variety of things, and that those connections can be harnessed as conduits of innovative and creative solutions. Collective Advantage was formed to find ways to harness the power of organizations, movements, companies, cultures, ideas, processes, systems, technologies, language, and many other things that connect people and form communities. We believe that these communities can be transformed from static to active states when they become collectives. They become collectives when they are focused on working together. They work together by collectively solving problems and innovating new and creative solutions.
Right now, Collective Advantage is still a young company. We are still building our team and discovering our culture. As we grow, our natural organizational evolution will play itself out and we will become the company that our employees want it to be. So far we are an open, friendly, and transparent workplace. We believe in excellence in all things and in investing and building capacity in our employees.
