- Dr. Peter Coakley was born in Woburn, Massachusetts and has lived here most of his life. He attended Boston College, where he graduated with honors in 1969. He went on to attend McGill University in Montreal where once again he graduated with honors. After graduation, Dr. Coakley completed an internship at the University of Florida in Gainesville. In 1975, after completing his internship, he opened his private practice in Woburn. He is also a clinical instructor at Harvard School of Dental Medicine, and has lectured to various dental groups and private organizations. Dr. Coakley is married with three daughters.
