Candle Light Magazine first began as a small newsletter that was distributed locally. Even the word newsletter is a generous term. Perhaps typed pages might be more appropriate. (grin) It was known as the Christian Reporter at that time.
It slowly fizzled out. Too local. Not enough readers, not enough writers, not enough money. Later, as I began to get involved in message networks I redesigned the magazine. It became Light & Life magazine. It was a success! Wider audience, larger amount of writers and distribution was limited to long distance phone calls.
The problem was that I was also the Net Administrator of one of these message networks…Agape Family Network. I couldn't do both due to time constraints. I chose to lead the message network and passed the ownership to Rev. Dennis Rayburn who still publishes LnL magazine.
