- Clementi Town Shop-owners’ Association (CTSOA) was founded in 1979 when Clementi New Town was established. Shop-operators were then relocated from different areas into Clementi New Town. The association was formed by a group of earnest shop-operators, who realized that such an Association which belongs to all the shop-operators in Clementi Town was necessary and essential. The Association would act as a platform for members to interact with each other, looking after the benefits and welfare of members. The Chairman of the pioneer term of office was Mr Tang Chong Meng, BBM.
