Clean Room Engineering (CRE) is a multi-faceted company which initiated operations in 1964 as a manufacturer of select products for use within clean rooms. Shortly after its inception, CRE engineers became involved in the design of machinery for use within clean rooms. CRE began the construction of clean rooms in 1965, and since that time has been responsible for both the design and installation of well over 2,000 clean rooms.
CRE has also designed and manufactured many thousands of laminar flow type units which are employed as local control devices for a variety of manufacturing, laboratory and technical operations. We maintain a staff of project managers, engineers, designers, and craftsman who are directly responsible for your engineered clean room projects and the manufacture of your clean room equipment which is built by our staff in our Bohemia, NY facility
CRE is recognized for the broad range of products developed for clean rooms, with well over 200 special products, and its unique ability to address the engineering of clean room facilities on the basis of a systems or process engineering approach. Our clean rooms and products have been and are used by some of the largest companies in the world including such giants as General Motors, Merck Pharmaceuticals, IBM, and Dupont.
