Description
Clayhouse Vineyard is a small boutique winery located in Paso Robles, California. We specialize in premium estate grown Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Malbec, Petit Verdot, Sauvignon Blanc and some of the oldest Petite Sirah vines in the region. We hand pick, sort the fruit with the majority going into new French oak barrels to enhance the wine with further aging. All our fruit is estate grown which has been supplied to some of the biggest names in Napa Valley wine making. Our steep sloping terrace vineyards are well suited for growing premium varietal grapes. Our old vine Petite Sirah has been awarded as some of the finest in the Central Coast region. We take our name from a 100 year old adobe house which sits in the vineyard. Our Sauvignon Blanc is comprised of 40% Musque Clone to add a spicy characteristic to our white wine. We feature limited production single vineyard bottling of non-traditional Bordeaux varietals Malbec and Petit Verdot.
