- Keith worked for 15 years as a Production Engineer in the electronics industry for a company which made products as diverse as central heating controls to circuit boards for Exercet missiles. During that time he served an apprenticeship as a multi skilled technician and went on to be the Production Engineer on the Lumenition electronic ignition production line. This was followed by 8 years as a Manager in the automotive industry, developing products for customers such as Audi, Porsche, Toyota and Jaguar. This involved working in the USA and Japan and the final 3 years of that time was spent in Germany as an R & D Project Manager for Valeo at their “Centre of Excellence for Automotive Research in Stuttgart. Keith returned to the UK in 2003 and led a team of Consultant Engineers for Durham University.
