Hi! My name is Brooks Sanford. I have a degree in wildlife biology from the University of Idaho. I worked for the Idaho Fish and Game Department out of the Lewiston, Idaho office for 3 years before opening Clark Fork Trout Tackle in April of 1997. I am also a licensed guide in the state of Montana and a commercial fly tier. Fishing has been a passion for me since early childhood. People always tell me I have the best job in the world. Who am I to argue with that!
Hi! My name is Jackie Sanford. I have been helping my husband Brooks run our business since April of 1997. I have a degree in sociology form the University of Idaho and I was a licensed massage therapist until June of 1999. My knowledge of fly fishing is growing while Brooks keeps teaching me everything he can. You will most likely find me working in the fall when Brooks is guiding, but I have been known to work a few days here and there through spring and summer so Brooks can go fishing. These are the days you might want to visit our shop as I like to give out Brooks' secret fishing holes.
Anna Sanford is 6 years old and loves to fish and tie flies. She has been helping Mom and Dad run the family business and is now teaching her younger brother about marketing and rowing a drift boat.
