- Kathy Denness, founder of Clairebella, began designing baby items after her two children were born. While living in Sydney, Australia, Kathy used her art background creating and selling handpainted children's furniture to boutique and specialty stores. She was also a freelance designer of children's fabrics. After returning to the U.S., Kathy began looking for another way to showcase her creativity through children's products. She found nostalgic fabrics irresistable and began creating burp cloths with them, thus Clairebella was born. The company is named after her daughter, Claire. Kathy's son, Michael, has also been an inspiration for her designs. Clairebella strives to provide unique designs of the highest quality. It is our hope that an item from Clairebella will be treasured for years to come.
