Citizens for Flood Safety (CFS) is a wide coalition of citizens, property owners, community leaders, environmentalists and businesspeople founded to support the urgently needed improvements to Sacramento’s safeguards against natural disaster. CFS supported more flood protection in 2000, when 82% of Sacramento voters cast ballots to invest in a first round of levee, dam, and watershed improvements.
