The Minister for Transport Martin Cullen has announced that the Light Dues rate for the year 1st April 2006 to 31st March 2007 has been reduced from 56 cent per ton to 52 cent per ton.
Shipping Minister Stephen Ladyman announced today that light dues paid by merchant ships for aids to navigation in UK waters will be reduced from 39p to 35p per tonne in 2006/07.
