Cigar500 sues M Shanken Communications, Inc. (Cigar Aficionado) and Ashton Cigar Company, Inc., for breach of contract and conspiracy.
Suit filed under The Hague Convention in Superior Court, Toronto, Canada.
The suit filed by M. Shanken Communications, Inc. (Cigar Aficionado) against Cigar500 is in response to an original suit filed by Cigar500 in July, 2007.
Cigar 500's suit states that a duly entered and signed advertising contract was summarily broken by Cigar Aficionado (M. Shanken Communications, Inc.) when undue commercial pressure was applied by Ashton Cigars, Inc.
The countersuit by Shanken does not respond to the original complaint and is intended to mask the real issues of breach of contract and conspiracy.
