The Construction Industry Development Board of South Africa (CIDB) is established by Parliament (Act 38 of 2000) as a statutory body to stimulate sustainable growth, reform and improvement of the construction sector and the industry’s enhanced role in the country’s economy. Appointed by the Minister of Public Works, the CIDB represents a strategic partnership between the public and private sectors to advance a common vision for industry development and delivery.
