Christine is a women's advocate, and believes with all her heart that women can face the problems in their lives with courage, creativity (and often humor) and make a difference in the world. There is an incorrect "stereotype" that romance novels have cookie cutter themes and weak heroines who need to be rescued. Far from that image, Christine's stories center around strong, dedicated women of today who balance family, career and love with enthusiasm and success. She likes characters who deal with real life challenges, just like her readers. Her characters are committed to following the passions in their lives, both in their relationships and in their careers.
Facing a challenge is a familiar theme for Christine. With a BA in Psychology and Elementary Education from Hope College in Holland, Michigan, and an MBA from Temple University in Philadelphia, she is a woman with experience in many different venues, and this has brought depth and knowledge to many of her stories.
