Venita S. Welcome is the founder and President of Christian Wellness Center and Vashti House, Inc. She holds a Master’s Degree in Christian Counseling from Philadelphia Biblical University, PA and is a New Jersey State Licensed Professional Counselor. Venita is a Certified Victim Counselor, and a Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) Level II trained clinician. She has held numerous leadership positions in a domestic violence agency, local churches,faith-based organizations and in corporate America.
Venita believes that everyone should have access to affordable and compassionate counseling. She also believes that a safe environment must be created where people can express how life challenges have impacted their faith and/or belief in God.
All our counselors possess sensitivity to identifying the problem and finding resolutions. Our purpose is not to judge anyone but to come alongside them showing God’s unconditional love.
