- CHREE is the crying voice of the needy. It was founded in October 2004 as a nonprofit corporation dedicated to the service of individuals and social groups on our planet earth who are deprived of human dignity in our midst. The purposes for the establishment of CHREE as a legal entity are spelled out in its articles of incorporation. CHREE recognizes philanthropic wishes of many individuals and organizations to share their possessions with those who have none. CHREE works to activate such wishes and acts as a trusted conduit for channeling donations to serve the basic needs(food, shelter, clothing, and functional literacy) of underserved individuals and groups. By virtue of a determination letter from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) of June 2005, CHREE is a 501c(3) public charitable organization through which donors can make tax deductible donations for specific or general needs of their choosing.
