Title

Children's Publishing - Educational - Literacy Programs

Description

There is much research on early intervention and early reading. This research indicates the necessary skills required for successful learning and how to teach these skills using developmentally appropriate methods. There are many disciplines involved in early intervention; i.e. speech pathologists, Head Start teachers, Pre-K teachers, Regular Ed, Special Ed, English as a Second Language, programs for children with disabilities, and last but not least, parents. Many of these disciplines follow a specific program and the methods they use should be based on valid and reliable research. The mission of Children's Publishing is to provide research-based materials that can be used by all disciplines in a collaborative manner to increase the literacy and academic success of all children with and without disabilities.
