Those who are both gifted and learning disabled tend to face the greatest challenges. From the beginning of their formal school years, unique learners find themselves facing challenges in a society and school environment which often neither recognize nor foster "exceptionalities." Elementary students often do not get the evaluation and support services they need. Child & Family Psychological Services Clinic in Madison, WI. was founded in 1980 as a WI State Certified out-patient mental health clinic serving unique learners. We provide assessments, diagnosis, advocacy, information and referral as well as out-patient psychotherapy to children, adolescents and adults who are Gifted/Talented, have Developmental Learning Disorders such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, ADHD, Nonverbal learning Disorders; Asperger's Syndrome and other unique learning abilities to clients in the Midwest, around the United States and abroad.
