Description
Children born out of wedlock, teenagers bearing an unwanted child, children taken from homes where alcohol destroys the parents' ability to parent or drugs have taken their toll, children removed from abusive or neglectful homes, children left on the street to beg or fend for themselves.
These are the modern-day orphans of Russia. Two million children are without families in Russia, two-thirds of them live on the streets. The lucky ones (approximately 650,000) live in orphanages.
Child Link International exists in the hope of participating in the solutions to this ever-rising problem. The mission is to bring the love of Jesus, encouragement and hope. To provide food, clothing, and warmth. To supply medicine, vitamins, and personal hygiene products. To encourage education and vocational skill training. To facilitate adoption into Christian American families.
