This website is dedicated to the castle of Montcony, located in Bresse, one of the last medieval jewels of the Saone-et-Loire department in Burgundy (France). The Montcony's castle is a medieval site (13th and 15th century). It is situated in Bresse, in the south east of Burgundy (France).
This historical private monument (graded) is unique and exceptional not only because it is beautiful and has experienced typical events in history but also because it is one of the last typical feudal castles located in Bresse.
Unfortunately, because of its health this castle can't still be visited and had to be definitely protected against theft and vandalism.
The Montcony's castle is actively looking for enthusiastic and passionate sponsors or patrons to help it at financing its restoration and/or participate in its cultural influence, or simply to take advantage of it in private.
Of course, all projects are possible.
