Amy has been studying and practicing complementary therapeutic approaches, including hypnosis, emotional freedom mechanics and natural healing, for over fifteen years and she has been in professional practice since March 2001.
Her interest in this field stems from her own personal growth studies starting in the 1980’s. She has found that by using a blend of Western medicine with complimentary health forms such as hypnotherapy, natural pharmacy, and energy work, people are able to improve their health and live a more normal life.
Her formal training has been received through the Infinity Institute of Michigan where she was trained in holistic forms of hypnotherapy (Ellnerian and Ericksonian). She is certified and registered as a Hypnotherapist through the International Medical and Dental Hypnosis Association®, National Guild of Hypnotists. Amy has also received advanced training for Complementary Medical Hypnosis, Subconscious Mind Healing, Smoking Cessation, Fears and Anxiety, and complementary therapies for cancer patients.
