Before written history, spiritual leaders used the ancient fires of China to heat and crack tortoise shells for people seeking answers to their spiritual and personal questions.  Healers mysteriously read the cracks to tell people their fortunes.  The I Ching emerged from the ancient fires as solid and broken lines mingling to form 64 hexagrams.  Each hexagram is uniquely named and carries over 5,000 years of wisdom.  Around 1150 B.C., the I Ching was first recorded.
