Before the days of electricity people used oil lamps and candles for their primary source of indoor lighting. People in England often purchased their candles from their neighborhood Chandler, or candlemaker. We at Chandler's Candle Company are continuing the English tradition of the Chandler by offering beautifully hand crafted, personalized candles designed with an array of flowers, leaves, and decorations.
Family owned and operated, Chandler's is located in the heart of California's gold country in the majestic Sierra foothills, and is one hour east of downtown Sacramento. Since 1992 we have been making unique floral personalized candles assisting brides and gift givers nationwide. Owners Steve and Chris Pond, along with keeping very busy with their growing family of six children, enjoy growing and pressing the flowers, designing the candles, and hearing from their very satisfied customers.
