- Coming from a family with a long history of military service, Chad proudly served seven years on active duty in the US Army with nearly two years overseas in four different countries. He served two enlistments; one in the Infantry and the other in Military Intelligence. Chad served in the 82nd Airborne Division, the 2nd Infantry Division (South Korea) and the 5th Special Forces Group. He is a graduate of the Non-Commissioned Officers Academy and the US Army Intelligence School. Chad finished his military service as a sergeant (E-5) and was honorably discharged in 1997.
