CEU Direct, Inc. is a Massachusetts S-Corporation, owned and operated by long standing medical professionals in the fields of nursing, administration, education, medical transcription and computer sciences.
The concept of our On-line education program was born in 1998. The corporation formed in 2000 and began a lengthy process of developing the website and writing its programs. Serious setbacks occurred in procuring providership status as the Massachusetts Nurses Association voted to disaffiliate from the American Nurses Association, thereby loosing the ability to provide national accreditation through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Having CEU Direct, Inc. be an "approved provider of continuing education" was paramount to the quality we intended for the site. We persevered, and in spite of the obstacles we are very proud to announce our Grand Opening.
Ms. Sherman is directly responsible for planning, implementing, evaluating and assuring the quality of ongoing continuing education activities for nurses. Ms. Sherman, as President and Senior Nurse Planner is the website "Content Specialist".
