and available on a daily basis to consult with veterinarians regarding their cases. The laboratory initiated operation in Cloverdale, B.C. in 1982 and then built a facility in Langley, B.C in 1985. This building was expanded in 1987. A separate facility was created in Alberta in 1992, and the operation was moved to a purchased building in 1998. Both sites provide library and conference rooms for use by the local veterinarians. Any licensed practitioner in Alberta, British Columbia or Manitoba can purchase shares in the company ( Please see Join Us for further information).
JoAnne Perell has been in charge of our Histology department since the labs beginning in 1982. JoAnne's cheerful smile, attention to detail and easy camaraderie has been a major asset to CLV. She added supervision of the Coggins department to her repertoire when CLV started doing this test and has assisted all new trainees in this department.
