- Celtic Anglian Water (CAW) was established in 1998 to participate in the development of Ireland's water and wastewater infrastructure. CAW is a 50/50 joint venture company between Celtic Utilities Limited and Anglian Water (Ireland) Ltd. a wholly owned subsidiary of awg plc (formally known as Anglian Water Plc). CAW operates in the development of water and wastewater assets providing water supply, wastewater treatment, plant operation and maintenance services for both industrial and municipal clients. The joint venture combines the in-house technical expertise of awg plc with Celtic Utilities' local knowledge of the Irish market.
