Maryjean Ballner is a New York State Licensed Massage Therapist, and a 1983 graduate of the Swedish Institute for Massage Therapy, in Manhattan. She has been an animal lover all her life and actively volunteers to help local humane organizations as well as being a writer and video producer of animal tapes.
March 1998 – Started (and continue) as a TLC (Tender Loving Caresses) volunteer at The Peninsula Humane Society, outside San Francisco, socializing animals for better chance of adoption and to reduce kennel stress.
