- Mac MacDaniel established Casper Monument Company at 500 S. Conwell, Casper, Wyoming in 1924. Several owners and name changes later, in 1964 the company was purchased by Watertown Monument Company located in Watertown, South Dakota and managed by Robert Forsberg. In 1976, the current owner Ron Potter came to work for the monument company as the designer and engraver. In 1989, Mr. Forsberg retired and Ron along with his wife Pat purchased Casper Watertown Monument Works, now known as Casper Monument Company. They had previously been in the monument company business in Fort Collins, Colorado, Ron since 1967 and Pat since 1981.
