Wolfgang Disch, an experienced and innovative system programmer, joined the company in 1994. He is regarded as the most important developer of the Brodos PoS trade system. Wolfgang Disch was born on the 23rd April 1955 in Bamberg. After the abitur, Wolfgang Disch embarked on an information technology degree course at the Technical University of Munich. Later he moved to Erlangen University. Alongside his studies, Wolfgang Disch worked as a project manager with IDC Europe. During his studies, Wolfgang Disch worked for Eldicon on micro-processor control and operating systems. From 1985 he was a free-lance project worker at TeKaDe (now Lucent Technologies) in the area of private communication systems for data transmission. In 1987 Wolfgang Disch worked as a consultant on CAD systems and networks for a number of structural and civil engineering offices in southern Germany. 1992-1997 (1994-1997 sub-contractor of Brokelmann & Co. GmbH) Wolfgang Disch was managing director of Brodos GmbH, from January 2000 of Brodos AG, with responsibility for research and development.
