Network
Casa de l’Est’s associates are the academics, university students and the professionals involved in the cultural sector (sociologists, historians, anthropologists, writers, translators, architects, economists, etc.) from Central and Eastern Europe and Catalonia/Spain, who conduct multidisciplinary research and strive to increase the knowledge about the region. We also aim to promote the Catalan and Spanish culture and society in twenty-odd Central and East European countries.
Objectives
Our primary goal is to foster and broaden the cultural and institutional ties between Catalonia/Spain and these countries. Our Articles of Association highlight the following objectives:
Implementing the projects and promoting the activities aimed at expanding knowledge of the cultural, historical, social and economic conditions in Central and Eastern Europe;
