Casa de Caballos Vineyards started out as Morgan Farms. While in residency at Orange County Medical Center, Dr. Morgan experimented with fruit and berry wines. Upon graduation he purchased the property on the west side of Templeton that is now known as Casa de Caballos.
As a hobby, Tom sharpened his skills and immersed himself in the process of growing grapes and producing high quality wines. Tom believes that “If you can read you can learn to do anything,” and from that he taught himself how to make wine.
