- Once upon a time there were two boys, Mike Hoffer and Craig Yarnell. We met each other in Chapel Hill in the fall of 1970. Mike was 11 and Craig was 12. We both joined Boy Scouts at the same time, and little did we know we would become lifelong friends and business partners. We both earned our Eagle Scout award giving us one of the best experiences of our lives.
