- The CaringHearts Daily Diary is a workbook aimed at helping caregivers of heart patients more easily adjust to their role. The notebook evolved as I cared for my husband following a quadruple bypass. A wealth of information was available to prepare us for what he would be undergoing, but few resources were available to prepare me for or assist me with my role as the caretaker. The tools developed for the Diary are based upon my experiences and are the refinement of tools I drafted for myself to track medications, temperature, diet and exercise and organize notes and literature from medical visits. Also included in the Diary is resource information for support groups as well as a summary booklet of simple planning tasks and precautions you may want to consider.
