This jewel of a house was built in 1845 in a historic section of South Yarmouth known as Bass River. This former sea captain\'s house was purchased in 2005 by Michael & Nancy Lumia. A perfect blend of antique and contemporary, the inn has eight magnificent rooms, each one a romantic getaway, lovingly detailed with modern amenities; private baths, some with Jacuzzis; beautiful antique king or queen-size beds; cable TVs with VCR and in-house videos; bathrobes; and air conditioning. Two suites upstairs feature sunken bathrooms, queen-size beds, living rooms, and upscale European flair. One room offers a queen-size four-poster bed, Jacuzzi, and a walk-out sundeck.
