Through these unique graphical displays of current market behavior, the dynamic trends can be sensed at a glance. Graphical Analysis: The graphical technique is borrowed from fractal mechanics. The physics of a financial market is similar to that of a wobbly, rotating mechanical system with drift, which can be described mathematically by use of a relatively new tool called Chaos Theory. Fractal mathematics arises from breakthroughs in this new area. Because of the mechanical analogy, the mathematical treatment inherently incorporates conventionally recognized market concepts of velocity and momentum. Instead of a linear chart, however, this product utilizes a proprietary circular display, in which the short-term wobble and long-tem drift of the rotational axis are separated out from the cyclic trends. This graphical technique reveals a string of cyclic patterns along the diagonal axis, which are believed to be examples of a mathematical behavior known as a “strange attractor.” These strange attractors seem to be identifiable as random cyclicity, bullish or bearish trends, positive or negative corrections, or market bubbles or crashes, depending upon the direction and amplitude of displacement of their nominal rotational centers from the origin.
