Scala Plugin for NetBeans - Rewrite in Scala #3: Ready for Beta Test I struggled with new redesigned IDE / compiler interface (interative.Global) during this weekend, and finally, got it attached to NetBeans Scala plugin, which runs as a background daemon thread, thus the plugin is more responsive when coding (the first benefit). It was a hard work though, I had to modify some of the original code to get whole things stable and responsive (balance), it paid me 2 sleepless nights.
