- Like many other immigrants of the era, my grandfather Anthony Canzoneri, who was born In Prizzi Sicily, came to the United States in 1911. He brought with him meaningful family traditions and values which have been passed down through the generations. Over the years the families in Prizzi and here in the United States have kept in contact and kept those traditions and values alive.
