- Hi, my name is Steve Dannenberg. I am founder and President of Canine Waste Removal Company. I started my business in 1983 when hardly anyone had ever heard of such a service. At the time I was a college student living with my parents. My parents have always been self-employed, so when I read about a "pooper scooper" business in a magazine I decided it would be a great business opportunity. I was a struggling student and the idea of a flexible job with low cost start-up and high profit sounded too good to pass up! I was able to work my yards in around my classes and it provided me with a great part time income. Eventually I earned my Bachelor's degree in Business Management and began devoting myself full time to my company. At twenty years old I was a successful business man with my own company! Eighteen years later Canine Waste Removal is still thriving and growing!
